April, 2013:

Library, Cake and Drumming, Oh My!

Thank you to everyone who came to sing at the Whistler Public Library’s celebration of opening on Sundays last weekend.  The choir sang and everyone enjoyed the food and cake.

The junior and intermediate choirs had a busy week with a percussion workshop with professional percussionist Lauri Lyster on Tuesday.

The choirs worked with Lauri to add percussion to some of the favourites that will be performed at the year end concert on Sunday, May 5.

Lots of shakers - can you guess the old favourite they're singing?

Thank you to the Whistler Arts Council for making this workshop possible.  The choirs had a great time and look forward to performing what they learned at the concert.

Whistler Cup Parade 2013

The choir had a great time marching through the Village as part of the Whistler Cup Parade last Friday and singing O Canada.  Thank you to all of those who came out for the parade and to all the parents who took pictures.
